Eminem references LaserDiscs in the track Bad Influence.

"My laser disc'll make you take a razor to your wrist
Make you satanistic, make you take the pistol to your face"

...and you can see other laserdiscs - few second before, "Natural Born Killers", for example.

you might not get a replay since. I've not seen him on in awhile but it would be nice to find the commercial.

Even though this outs me as having watched it, in the first season (I think) of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, there are references to Laserdisc in two unrelated episodes. Seems one of the writing staff worked to get them in. It's something anyway.

Thanks for that, really cool.

With the PIONEER logo we all know & love (I think?).

Is it something that has been up for years or a retro thing? Whatever it is great to see & quite large in size by the looks of it.

Thanks again.

Cheers

certainly not PIONEER's only logo design in their near-century-long history, but easily by far their very best.

there is something about the older logo from the 80s that I love though I can't figure out which I love more Sound Vision Soul or the Art of Entertainment. All earlier logs are just as nice.

I also prefer their older logo, their logo really meant something, first it references the origin of the company through the Omega letter, representing speaker impedance calculated in Ohms.
Secondly, the logo also conveys the purity of sound with the help of the tuning fork present on it.
They then both merge into one, to form the ultimate symbol, the very logo we all love and celebrate.

I don't love it. I definitely prefer Sony LD players and other gear.

I suppose someone forgot about you. Has Sony always had the same script since the beginning? I've never seen it different.

I've just discovered this wonderful track by Anders Enger Jensen; "DiscoVision." Thought you'd enjoy.
