xtempo: my condolences edit: and to particle too. i bet spot lived a good long life at least! (and that stamper error thing looks interesting - wonder what titles it affected. and interesting that the 2080 and not 3080 was listed, too.)

thanks je280 and happycube scan of insert watched Demolition Man on my CLD-980 years ago. for some reason that was the only time I ever watched any LD with my father

Arrived in the mail yesterday: "Alien" and "Aliens" are the letterboxed THX versions with AC-3 soundtracks. (Trying to convince myself to get an AC-3 decoder.) Bought "Eraser" just because of its infamy.

Visited Goodwill today and to my surprise they had a TON of LaserDiscs. I took home the four I was most interested in. That and a few other finds made this my most successful Goodwill run in some time.
