It is listed as the highest catalogue number in the PLFEB 37 series http://www.lddb.com/search.php?reference=PLFEB%2037*&discard=false&sort=date,asc&start=25So it probably is the last 'PAL UK movie' release however it certainly isn't the last PAL worldwide release or last PAL non movie release. PAL titles were released throughout Europe, Australia and even occasionally parts of Asia (Malaysia, Singapore etc). The last PAL French movie may be this one released in 2000 : Ennemi d'état (1998) [96-0606/22] Ennemi d'état (1998) [96-0606/22]

According to the database there was a Laser Juke: Music Compilation Series (2001) 8" released in 2001 in NTSC which is weird since the UK was PAL. I'm not sure there were ever any PAL laserdisc jukeboxes, think the ones sold in the UK were still NTSC. But I'm sure someone else will actually know, I'm just guessing.

Hi, Thought I'd pick this on this old thread Any further thoughts when these last UK PAL movies were actually released? Interesting to note only Deep Impact (PLFEB 37871) & Small Soldiers (PLFEB 37891) are date stamped 1999, Armageddon (PLFEC 37681), Halloween (PLFEC 37691) & Snake Eyes (PLFEB37701) have no external date stamps (i.e on the cover) at all and the others in the PLFEB 376 & 377 (378) series are date stamped 1998 (of the 8 x Uk releases in that series: 4 = 1998, 2 = undated, 2 = 1999). As I store my collection in release order it does cause me to ask the question, for example Small Soldiers NTSC (ID5914DW), according to the database, was released late into the year 31/08/1999 however I would not have thought the UK distribution channels were releasing that late but then I would not have thought the UK would have got the release prior to the US? Some of you may recall the dying days of 3 x LD's for £22 from HMV if you were able to get to the Oxford Street store after all remaining stock from local stores had been shipped over, that was not in the winter months of 1999 I'm sure. Looking at the date stamps and the catalogue numbering I am also assuming they were released out of sync with the cat number, i.e Mercury Rising (PLFEB 37781 & Sliding Doors (PLFEB 37771) are dated 1998 whilst those thought to be 1999 but not dated have a lower cat number. If anybody can throw some light of this that would be great. Many thanks
