After reading a different thread here where someone suggested watching the laserdisc version of "Se7en" (a big favorite of mine), I ordered the box set.

I already owned the DVD and Bluray of this movie, and have watched those several times. When I got the LD and popped it in, as the poster in the other thread mentioned, while the "cut" may be the same, the bluray mastering process removed a lot of the original "ambiance" and "feel" of the film.

I'm pretty sure that the LD version of this movie, is the one I like best. I actually like the occasional film glitch or scratch.

A lot of the bluray releases, while maybe not altered in scene sequence, are highly altered in color space, film grain removal, and other aspects.

That would be the Criterion release right?
