Hey,

New to the forum, I recently moved to Tokyo, and I'm looking to reacquire some of my favourite movies in LD format.

I did a quick search, and the only suggestion I saw was Recofan Beam in Shibuya, Tokyo. Are there any other stores in and around Tokyo that have a decent selection of Laserdiscs? Yahoo Auctions is an option, but often the delivery and payment fees triple the price of a disk, so I'll likely just use that for the higher priced items.

You should try to buy multiple items if buying on yahoo.

Otherwise its hard off that got lasers, pretty much the only place.

I found a bunch of LDs at Hard Off mixed with LPs in the junk section. The store in Hachioji had a lot of LDs. The store in Akihabara have a small selection as well. Also spotted a few anime LDs at Mandarake in Akihabara, top floor. Single LDs were around 100 yen each and box sets around 500 yen. Very cheap stuff!

Thanks for the tips guys, went to Recofan in Shibuya yesterday, their selection was pretty much picked clean, but I managed to score Die Hard 2, Look Who's Talking and The Burbs for 100 yen a piece.

Seems like Yahoo Auctions is the best option at this point!
