Sold about 350 discs meanwhile. Made a deal with one buyer who took about 100 discs a d515 and a Yamaha APD-1.
The space it all takes once sorted
Every time I sell some it just doesn't look like there's much gone :)
Kept me another cld-d925 and a denon LA-2300 player around. Kenwood DEM-999D is one that I am going to sell. I have 3 mint unused in their box anyway.
I like that particular demodulator since it's supertiny and does a great job  using an LDD-1 myself for the obvious auto switching.
Had many mint sealed boxsets among them. about 20 that sold immediatly. Mint sealed is always nice when it comes to boxsets since they are prone to shelf wear if not treated right.
Some forum users and new LDDB members from Belgium came along
Made new friends and contacts. Happy everyone got some they like .

Many thanks to you Kris. I never thought I would have gotten so many movies and a great ld player in such a short period. Thanks to you I have an in perfect condition d515 and yamaha modulator and 65 ld's to start my new hobby!!!

Oh and I bought new inner sleeves and crystal clear outer sleeves and a lot of gatefold sleeves to store my ld's in perfect condition.

I'm enjoying my ld player and collection every day and I look forward in visiting you again soon to get me some more ld's :)

See you soon buddy!

First two got hd-dvd and blu-ray releases very early on, later came a 4 film box set in the UK. 2012 got a US box set release. I don't know if they are different cuts.

Goodness gracious! Where did you find this?
The recorder for this is the Sony HDL-5800 ; I am not quite sure whether, once recorded, it can be broken out of the cartridge & played back on the HDL-2000.

As far as I know the discs that were delivered to the TV stations were always in those cartridges.

Bought these titles while visiting Tokyo, found them in the junk section of a store called Hard Off. As far as I can see, nothing wrong with them. Just minor wear because of the age. Cost under a dollar each:

Sonic Soldier Borgman: Lover's Rain (1990) [TLL 2176]
Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-oh-ki Sound File (1994) [PILA-1241]
Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-oh-ki: vol.07 Special (1993) [PILA-1184]

Ghost (1990) [PILF-1309]
Nothing But Trouble (1991) [NJL-12068]

Arrived a few more LDs in the mail today. More cartoons, this time the big Maison Ikkoku box set along with the OVAs and the movie. Also got a game for the MSX computer on LD.

Inter Stellar (1984) [SS098-0008]
Maison Ikkoku: Perfect TV Box (1986) [KFLD-0001~0024]
Maison Ikkoku: Through the Passing Seasons (1988) [G98F5064]
Maison Ikkoku: Prelude [KTLV-1019]
Maison Ikkoku: Final Chapter (1988) [G100F5056]

Also got the disc for the "Side Story: Ikkoku Island Flirtation Story" OVA episode, with referance number KACL1006. It isn't in the database, but going to submit it later this evening.

Picture of the haul:

No the US HD-DVD and BD are 110 and 114 minute theatrical cuts. I couldn't find the director's cuts on BD in other regions. What's your take on the DC? Does the additional footage add anything significant?

There are a few scenes in the movies that show Riggs for what he is.
Lethal weapon features a scene with a shootout in a school introducing Riggs to the vieuwer.
other little moments show Roger grabbing his gun in some vault at home. They are subtle differences but they're nice. Storywise not important to be honnest.
Since I'm a LW fan no way going around them

Biggest difference with DC version is another Gibsom movie.... Payback. a whole other movie IMHO
Both enjoyable

Good evening Guys and Gals,

Thank you for sharing all of your purchases and rare finds with us all here.

I am still waiting for my order of which I have mentioned on these digital pages.
The above order consists of a number of rare titles and others not so, so please forgive thyself for the lack of mentioning each one.
Additional titles requested from Mr Santini are as follows: BOX SET OF YOUNG INDIANA JONES / THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.

I have received an adequate reply of late and shall look forward to finalisation before shipping to these shores from Australia (all Japanese titles.)

Kind Regards

P.S. Photo's will follow when all of the above has been received

Good evening Substance,

Mid July to November he had business and leisure travels and also returned to his home Country of France to see his folks no doubt.
Since he moved to Australia around 2 1/2 years ago, after personally packing 350 shipping crates to those new lands he has been busy with a number of matters.

He replied to myself as of around mid December 2015.
I should here from him within the next week or so, with updates on when my long standing reserved order with additional titles if available will be shipped.

Would you like myself to mention yourself to him.

No problem

Sincerest Regards

I did business with him, my email should be in his address book. I had some money put aside for some LD I was looking for, since then I ve spent it:) I don't know whether there is no need to contact him anymore. You can mention to him if you like, thanks for that.

Enjoy your discs btw. I am sure they will look and sound amazing once you complete your av gear.

Take care friend:)
