I only own 2 adult laserdisc with 2 more on the way. I did rent Devil in Miss Jones years ago & it looked awful full of rot. It looks like Image was the main producer of them. I do have 2 Playboy's one has rot & the other doesnt. When laserdiscs were being made i know the price of a XXX was way out of my range now on ebay they can be had for a fraction of the price but there arent a whole lot to choose from.

Every "Adult" title I've ever seen was produced by Pioneer USA and therefore would be subject to the typical rot patterns of the USA plant. Stuff from 82 to 85 is going to be hit and miss. "Devil in Miss Jones," "Insatiable," "Debbie Does Dallas," "Up 'N' Coming" all fit into this range. Try finding 90s era repressings.

The first 6 Playboy titles were done by CBS/Fox, pressed by Pioneer. The first 4 fit into the above category. Volumes 5 & 6 are generally no problem - assuming you can find them. The balance of the Playboy titles, from Playboy directly or through HBO Video were all controlled by Image Entertainment and pressed at any of Image's standard facilities; Technidisc, Pioneer, DADC. I've never seen a title from a Japanese plant, but that doesn't mean that they didn't do one or two over there. The quality of each fit within the standards of any of these plants, none is different than the "main stream" titles produced by each facility.

The only p0rn title that I have is a Japanese release, "24 Hour Leading Actress" published by Diamond Visual and manufactured by Pioneer Japan. It is a title that I added to the database. This disc is free of any defects.

I have some erotic titles such as the odd Playboy and such made by Pioneer USA, Technidisc, etc. So far none are bad, but then I don't have alot to begin with.

My disc of The Girl from S.E.X. has some speckling, but didn't watch long enough to determine if it's rot or not.

I watched 1 of the 2 i just got the first one was perfect. With Image being a hit or miss on 1980s pressings you never know.

did you get the LD signed in the meantime? Officially Traci Lords hates all her pre 1987 stuff but I see many signed nude photos of her on ebay etc. Maybe all fake? She offered to sign personal stuff on her homepage in the past for I think $50.00.
