I searched around but couldn't find any discussion on how to get those Japanese super ultra clear outer plastic sleeves for LDs/LPs. The ones available locally are all cloudy, run over the edge of the spine too much and make it hard to read my spines on my shelf. I like Japanese sleeves. The open at one end, non-closing ones.

Would anyone have a link to a good source on Rakuten or other?

Although are a lot of people here using the fully closing type? They show the spine data the clearest but are tricky to remove from and reinsert to without catching the obi on the sticky area..maybe I just need to use those and be real patient and careful every time?

I would check on ebay under LP bags, you should find something but I just get mine from Bags Unlimited.
But they are not the cellophane style like you are asking about.

I always used the fully closing type.

Lons, where do you source your fully closing sleeves?

Been buying big packs here in the past, but not sure if I'll re-order when I run out.
Because quality is more like "Made in China" - so might just order from cdjapan as well.
