I've noticed many members don't actually use LDDB.com to store their collections or their wishlist items on the site.
For me that's the single most useful feature on the site so from day one back in 2006 I began entering my titles as I acquired more discs. I'm glad I did as it would be a huge task to begin entering them now if I was only getting round to starting now.

Just curious why so many people don't use this feature?

The ability to search the shops by your wish list is a very useful feature.

I've been using the collection feature from day one i became a member. Only a few discs i couldn't add as they didn't have a mintmark or barcode or whatever and i submitted them but somehow didn't come through.
The whislist proved to be a very nice feature as well which helped me with some rare discs.
I thought everyone was using the collection feature, didn't know that fewer did.
Very many hits if not all on google concerning laserdisc refer to lddb.com forum.
In my signature i have my collection(s) listed as many have, only my sacd collection i replaced with my player collection in the signature as a signature can only hold so many characters including urls.

I think a lot of members do it's just that they don't have it set to public. If I remember correctly, by default it's set to private and has to be manually set to public.

That's me & perhaps many others.

I use the feature regularly.

Yes it is but I wasn't referring to this. Even when collections are set private you can still see the total count of discs in a given collection so can tell if someone is using the site or not. Most aren't.

One of those, "I'll get around to it one day" things. When you're a single man, you gotta do everything your damn self, not much time left in the day..
