Since laser rot began right from the factory, if all these years a Laserdisc shows no signs of laser rot does that mean those Laserdiscs will be pretty much safe from it appearing in the (near) future? Thanks in advance.

There is no certainty that it won't happen, even if it hasn't been visible to you yet. Speaking of it, I might check my copy of Under Siege 2, to see if it has become progressively worse than back in 2012.
