I'm testing a new idea - you can read more here - but basically the result would be as the following:
this uses three sources - BD, WEB, SDTV (because I don't know if there is a DVD fullscreen of The Matrix)
Opinions on this kind of aspect ratio (AAP-AR for the moment) are welcome!
Now, there are few titles I'm interested in, but can't find out if a fullscreen version in DVD was ever published. Some of these titles are:
- The Abyss
Aliens
Alien: Resurrection
so, in case no DVD exists, I would use the next best thing, a laserdisc; as I collected mostly letterbox versions, I have not this titles in fullscreen; I wonder if someone with them would like to eventually (if the DVD didn't exist) capture them.
