That makes no sense. That group sucks, why would you want to take energy away from this group and put it into Facebook where intelligent posts are instantly burried forever? It’ll just kill this place, as Facebook as killed so many forums. On a website that bans nudity but allows beheading videos, sells our info to companies so people can screw with what’s left of our political process and in the end lacks dozens of features than any decent forum like this one has had since the 90s? They don’t want need or deserve quality posts. Let them drown in a bathtub full of Red Octobers.

Some of the most popular and active posts are when we talk hardware, the first question almost every new guy asks is about how to make the most out of the format so I disagree, people are begging for better content....

I think by now we all have our hardware and we have known what the best players are since 2005. But hardware conversations I guess are good if you just got into LD in the past 4 years. I even remember Substance left facebook, I saw his posts when that happened, I guess hes back on their after that.

The facebook group can be wonderful and it's nice to have LD material quickly available in your feed when you only have a second to glance-even if it just brightens up your work day to see some gear photos etc. Of course you wind up seeing the same posts over and over or answer about Star Wars ad nauseum but it can be a good experience. I finally decided to do videos of my collection so I could do some transfer discussion and to finally explain definitively why I collect titles when store clerks ask me every time. The setup I'm having to use now is very basic but I wanted to discuss each title and do a simple top down series of videos. So far I've done about a third or so of my collection in a few parts. It's all talking off the cuff so there's some umms and uhhs but it turned out better than I thought for just having to use my smartphone.
