I don't think about it that way, he's not posting stuff he can make money off of only stuff that has cool potential and others may not find.

What would be the point of going to a live concert after it's finished?

The REALLY good stuff, I keep to myself :-P

YAJ usually deletes the pictures some time after the auction ends, it's better to save these pics now in the Forum storage.

If you're a serious hunter you learn the best search terms and the ins and outs of y!jp. To have someone directly link the auction you are stalking to a public forum is uncool.

This isn't really a big deal, are you going to bid on it or did you want it before Julien posted it???

From my experience I've never seen items listed like this go super high, if they do its about 2% and it has to be super rare, and it was posted by the seller on forums.

From my experience I've never seen items listed like this go super high, if they do its about 2% and it has to be super rare, and it was posted by the seller on forums.


I didn't want it but I'm thinking about the guy who did want it.

It's happened to me on streetwear forums. Rare clothing pieces, blown up in public forums, bandwagon jumpers jump on to be cool and it starts a bidding war that never would have happened because now you have casual bidders who never would have found it/aren't genuinely interested or even fans of it.

I'm sure there are many readers here who want to be elite like some of the OG posters here and see buying something like this as a part way ticket to that status. They might not even genuinely want the lot at all. They just want to collect it to be more elite.

If they really appreciated stuff like this they would check the appropriate section of y!jp auctions daily, I do for certain stuff. I know the Japanese search terms for items I want that might get listed outside of the usual categories. I'm a hunter and I don't want to have an audience of wannabes with me when I move in for the "kill".

This happened once before, someone listed some Perfect Vision magazines and there must have been 6 posts about people saying I want to get those.

They ended up selling for a whopping 26 bucks for the complete run of 24 issues.......


Please keep posting away if anything cool is found.
Bullruckle, did you end up getting them??? If so please post pictures if there is anything that is unique to them.
