Nice boxing images with a serious feel, no joking around in this one.
Has a real city boxing heavyweight meets a light version of Riki-Oh. Some eyes get punched out and other interesting stuff.
Lots of great NYC imagery too.
Story follows Alex Goto or Godo who discovers Guy Hyuga at a local amateur street fight and wants to turn him into a champion fighter and what ensues from there.
To then get what I believe is a heavy weight match with Guy and his opponent having flashbacks on their hard times in life before they
got to the final match point.
Overall this is a really unique and rare Anime from a very obscure manga.
For reviews of the video i would say its as good as any OVA can be as the source material was made just for production, I'm sure
someone would run it through all the remastering devices you can but no need.
Audio is the same, as good as it can be as it was made as a straight to video and its nice for what it is.
The soundtrack is very limited but with a typical 80s-90s over processed guitar rock sound.
If you are a collector of any and all anime then this one is for you, I highly doubt it will ever be released on DVD or Bluray in the USA.
Uncertain as to the release of this on DVD in Japan as of yet.
