worth the prices sellers are commanding?

$200 for a box set here on LDDB, £499 for all three sets on ebay?

I could buy the American releases cheaper.

Are you willing to pay it? That's the question.

I have a prototype Macintosh (mine is the only complete model of this style known of-it has a few unique traits not on the other few protos known of) I paid a modest sum for it. Talking with a few fellow proto collectors it's worth $300-$500 easily, possibly even more. Would I ever have paid that much for it? No. But to some people it's easily worth that or possibly more.

I spent almost a year trying to find a copy of the Footsteps photo of Walt Disney. Had two copies get lost in the mail. I was ready to pay any price to get it by that point, and finally paid about $30 to get one. Most people would say that wasn't worth the time and money, but to me it was.

I paid $150+shipping for all three in mint/complete condition from goodsquid. Shipping was just as much on slow boat due to large boxes and weight. People tend to get better deals from yahoo auctions and such which removes the middleman. I prefer to use Kevin(good squid) as his prices are very fair and packaging is bulletproof.

Another recommendation for Good Squid from me. Great prices for Japanese discs and excellent shippin. He's my first port of call whenever I'm looking for rarer Japanese discs. Usually does great deals on box sets too.

Here in lddb you can just ask a seller if he is willing to sell it cheaper because you can not know how badly he wants to sell and how long is he trying to sell already.

No, it was NRK on the thor satellite. Talking over 10 years ago so memory is fuzzy but it is similarly spelt. Actually I think it is spelt dank.

I was just kidding. Danke is thank you in German I believe. Thank you in norwiegen is "takk" ? similar to the swedish word "tack". But Laserpaal can correct us both I think. Sorry for OT

They are cool sets, but frankly, the transfers are terrible. They are struck from Japanese syndication prints, and I think they were 16mm.

The American discs go cheaper. Think I will go for them instead of paying half a grand.
