I'm interested in buying a projector for my laserdisc player.
Looking to buy it from Germany as they have the best european prices for consumer electronics.
I apprechiate if any of our german forum members can provide links from webshops selling projectors at best price?

Projector I wanna buy is an LCD Sanyo which at least must have S-video Y/C connector.
I don't know which model series Sanyo offers nowadays, what do you recommend as an affordable HQ projector?
Projector must have a quiet fan and good quality vivid color picture.

Thanks

If you are talking available consumer products, I use this price search engine for everything:

https://geizhals.de/

If it is about old tech and used products, you'd have to go elsewhere...

The reviews for the Z2000 and 3000 are from 2008 and 2009 - likely this product is not available anymore new, but only used. Try ebay.

Yes this site only lists new products from vendors.

i often check ebay.
most used beamers (projectors) has many hours running time on lamps.
it's like buying pig in the bag with these.

on UK ebay there are lots of auctions for refurbished InFocus DLP projectors.
these projectors are manufacturer refurbished, would they be safe to buy?
this is a cheap projector, maybe not one of the best, but it has a very long lasting lamp of 6000hrs
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/InFocus-IN116 ... SwbdpWVXdQ

which Infocus projector would be ok to buy for approx 200-400 euro?
i heard from a friend that DLP's makes lots of noise?
db noise level is from 25 and more??

need info about Sanyo's organic LCD concept?
I saw their outdated model PLV-Z700 which had a new type of organic LCD.
what is this crap?
is it good or bad with organic LCD, would it last long or is it a short lifespan of this projector with organic LCD?

the plv-z700 lacks in colors and contrast according to reviews from this site?
http://www.projectorcentral.com/Sanyo-PLV-Z700.htm

would this be a good buy?

thanks

so i'm in a dilemma to either buy a brand new projector or buying a used projector?

new projectors are very expensive if i want to buy a panasonic or sony
buying a benq or epson or something else, i don't know if these are any good projectors and most of the time they don't have s-video and component.
not all of them are equipped with S-video and Component connectors.
used projectors like panasonic and sanyo have both connectors for laserdisc and dvd player.

i often scan ebay for used projectors, good projectors, they are maybe 5-10 years old fetch high prices and i don't want to pay 500 - 999 euros/pounds/dollars for these used projectors as they might break or burn the bulb.
it's hard to find good projectors for cheap money.

i want to buy a panasonic pt-ae4000 which have lens shift and other great options, but these projectors fetch high price for their age.
because it's an old projector and it's used I don't want to waste my money on such stuff.
i'm in a dilemma, what to do?
