Googling "Lumagen UK" works quite well:

http://www.convergent-av.co.uk/lumagen.html
http://www.stoneaudio.co.uk/?manufacturer=lumagen
https://www.idealav.co.uk/product-category/video-processors/
http://www.chromapure.co.uk/products.asp
https://www.hsound.co.uk/brand/lumagen/

I have this slight hunch...

You will never be able to find a good deal in Europe for a Lumagen.
Compared to open box special deals from that U.S. seller, and even
including the hilarious taxes on import... Though, I'd be happy to be
told otherwise.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info links Julien

I had a very informative chat with one of our beloved fellow members about Lumagen scalers recently.
I was told that some Lumagen scalers from the X-series, I cant remember which model it was XE - XD or XS?
Had very poor upscaling on analog connection for LD.

This makes me wonder if I should get a scaler or not as they are very expensive 2nd hand?

My idea was to get an older projector from Sanyo PLV-Z2000-4000 series, these projectors have both S-video and Component inputs.

Revisiting the list:

http://www.convergent-av.co.uk/lumagen_radiance_2143_2144.html <= Radiance still available!
http://www.stoneaudio.co.uk/?manufacturer=lumagen <= No more carrying Lumagen
https://www.chromapure.co.uk/products.asp?cat1=24&cat2=49 <= No more Radiance, only Radiance Pro
https://www.hsound.co.uk/shop/home-cinema/audio-eq-and-video-processors/lumagen-radiance-2144-processor/ <= Radiance still available!

I think he would have been talking about the comb filter rather than the scaling.
