Hi,

The setbacks doesn't seem to end.

I've just hooked up my newly purchased Algolith Mosquito HDMI.
Only to discover that the unit doesn't power up at all.
Completely dead.
I put a new CR2032 battery in the remote but to no avail.
Unfortunately I don't have another 12v power adapter to try it with.

Anyone else experienced this?

Is there any way to power up the Mosquito without that tiny remote?
As it is now it's impossible to know if it's the remote or the Mosquito-unit itself that's broken.

Yes you need the remote to power it on.

I finally got it to power on!
The instruction sheet about the new remote was missing with my unit.
But thanks to substance I found out you had to press 3 buttons in order to turn the unit on.

There's also the incorrect ac adapter wich came with my unit.
In the manual it states that the Mosquito uses 12v and pulls 4.5A
The power-supply that came with my unit is 12v but has a maximum of 3A.

Will have to go and buy a 12v 5A adapter
