I could gather, until this month, some money to buy a 2144. Too bad for me, there is no more unit on CurtPalme website... I contacted KAL, but he confirmed to me there was no more unit. If someone knows were I can find a 2144 for around 2500$, please tell me ! Maybe substance can help me ^^ ! |

He said it’s a trade in that he expects it to be available in a week. He will check for functionality and give it a year warranty. He said it should be around $250 to ship it to Japan. |

Dear substance, Thank you very much for your message ! And thank you for asking about details. Is it an open box unit ? For a unit in "new condition", $3145 would be good for me. If it is a open box unit, do you think it should possible to negociate the price ? (something around 2800$ and 3000$) About the sending fees, with a sending by USPS (Priority Mail International), 10 days, I found something around 155$ for a 15 kilogram, 70cmx50cmx30cm packet to japan. Could you ask if it is possible to get a price around 150$-180$ for sending ? (I don't mind if it takes long time to arrive !) I wait for your message ! |

I think you should contact Jim directly and negotiate the price and shipping. I believe the shipping cost is just an estimate. Thank you again substance for helping me ! I could get the unit from lumagen ! Little bit expensive perhaps (3145$), but sending fees were cheapest (171$) for Japan, and I didn't had to pay Paypal fees ! I will recieve it next week ! I will post again to give my impression about the lumagen ! It costed me 2 month of salary^^... I pray for a great improvement from my DVDO edge. |
