I got this rather cheaply so I play some of the LDs while the main players are in storage.
the lens doesn't move. I opened it and found this white piece seems to be the problem. Anyone know for sure? Does it need a belt?

so does anyone know what to do? The white piece came out and looks like it hooks in somewhere but I've not been able to take it apart to get to. I'll try and get a better picture later |

looking at this again I still can't get it play the disc even though I put the white piece where I thought it went. anybody have any ideas. could it be the motor or something? though now won't even try to load a disc the clamp does seem to now hit the tray occasionally

I am thinking it needs a belt but ai don't know the insides of LDV2200 but the lower right area where the belt is on the left the white pieces seem to be missing something so I can't be sure if that motor works and it stays on blinking Disc Set.I regret not having the ones I did have that are working but if I can fix this this would be a nice player to keep this time. |

Have you checked to see if you have the player and how it looks? |
