Who thinks they should add CDI movies to the database? I own quite a few and can't be the only one. Opinions?

Hmm depends what you mean. CDI movies are VCDs. Adding VCDs would be a HUGE process considering there's more VCD titles in the world then there are LDs (and they are still being made).

I was hoping for a specific list that was associated with the cdi home player.

I believe there are CD-i specific titles that came out. I'm not talking about video games but other media. If I understand correctly, to play one of these CD-i specific movies one does not need a CD-i player with the digital video cartridge. I have a Philips CD-i, but no digital video cartridge, but I bought mine for 3 horrible Zelda games.

I just burned mine. No point in paying the gouged prices.

The first full motion video releases on CD-i were not according to VCD standards and do not play on VCD or DVD players.
Some that come to mind are:

Tina Turner: Rio '88
Eric Clapton: The cream of

Instead of mentioning VideoCD on the package it stated "digital video on CD-i"
I believe the first movies released by Philips/CIC were also like this.
I would love to see a database added for these titles.
