Just thought I would add some more pictures of my equipment, of what didn't come out quite that well on the others that I had posted.

Under the dust plastic cover is Toshiba's AX2 HDDVD and under that is Denon's 3930.....Of which is in need of repair as I think the power fuse has popped. . . . . .I have never had this happen before so am quite amazed that this happened to a Denon. . . .

If your sure, sure about the fuse snag have you taking the lid off to peep inside looking for a small glass slow-blow-fuse near to the transformer and checking it by eye to see if its burnt out? If gone it should have small black burn mark on the glass. Check for voltage amps and buy a new one should be cheap off eBay buy a small bag of them in case it goes again if it does it has some issues that needs to be seen to or it might have been a spike in the powering it up one time that shorted the fuse out along with mains-plug fuse no doubt.

Those amps are nice and if you want some THX ones I noticed a seller on eBay that has more than enough of them for cheap as chips in fact enough to sink the entire Royal Navy fleet. I have no clue if they are in good working order or he just has 10 or 15 of them I lost count how many he had but maybe worth a Risk but I'd say postal would be hefty once all items are added up a single postal is cheap but a whole bulk would be costly.

Here is one of the many listings of the same amp, if your interested? :) but they would need a step-down transformer to convert our 240v down to 120v otherwise, the audince will be be sniffing the amp...!

Good afternoon laserbite34,

To be honest No I haven't looked inside and to be honest I would rather just sell it as it is.

This player has never been right.

I bought it brand new for £1.100 first the drive played up and so under warranty a new one was fitted and now this.

The sound of this player is not as good as the Pioneer LX91 which is stunning on sound.

I shall be looking at purchasing an OPPO 95 multi region player soon as I want to purchase US software only, the reason being that I have never liked the european DVD's Blu-Rays.

If you would like the Denon then Let me know and shall sell at a fraction of what I paid with original box £200 tops.

To be honest I get very little time to myself and when I do book time off I usually do things to my system then.

Both of my parents are very ill, of which I worry about.

At the moment I am trying to get my mother moved to a care home in my town, so that most of the family can spend more time together.

Last weekend her lungs were full and so I cleaned her up as she was coughing this all up.
I love and care for her so much but the worry can get to me at times.

So the offer is there.

Regards to you and thank you for the advice.

Seriously laserbite34,

If you want the player then it's your's all i would want is enough money for petrol in order to bring it down by car and that would be fine HONEST!

You have first refusal

Don't worry as you have enough trials of your own. . . . . .I know you do!

We all have good and bad days, and this one was bad from the moment I left home this morning it's just me

Thank you for what you wrote. . . .Deeply appreciated.

:)

Hello grasshopper,

Good evening from the UK

Thank you for your very kind words, there were more photo's However, what I posted were more than enough.

The HiFi Rack stands came along one by one over a period of around 14 months and, the final section was put into place this May 2012.

My next purchases will be to upgrade my power cables one by one, cables that are up to £130 will be enough to get adequate shielding, in order that I don't get any feedback when cables touch one another ect.......

Upgrading the rest of my 13amp fuses will be another goal, but first of all I shall be having my CLD 97 modified in order to output AC-3 RF out............This on it's own will cost a minimum of £100 in November 07th.

I shall also need to address my reserved Laserdisc order in Japan as this needs to be completed.......It will take around 8months.

It is painfully slow but at least most of all the equipment is on stands at last, with another two in the pipe line.

1 - In the bedroom and the other in the living room. . . . . . .

I hope that you are well and taking care of yourself and a pleasure to read from you.

Genuine regards

Good day Guys,

Weekend of Saturday 22nd received my new item of matching Study desk furniture, of which has taken around 2 years to finally get round to purchasing.

I have finally taken my brand new Pioneer Elite CLD-97 out of it's box after 6 1/2+ years, and have placed the player into the New item of furniture.

This will eventually be moved into the living room setup, once I have purchased the balance cables for the Lex Amp and Processor.
Other Pioneer Players have finally been moved from an item of furniture that will be replaced and will sit next to & match the stands that I have in place in the living room
Pioneer: DVL-909 / 919E / ELITE DVL-91

Here are a few pictures.

I hope that you are all well and taking good care of yourselves.

Genuine regards to all
