For easy reference here's a link to the one you're looking at: Blade Runner: Director's Cut (1992) [NJL-12682]

I don't have this disc so I can't personally comment on where the subtitles are. LDDB also lists Blade Runner: Director's Cut (1992) [RWL-12682] with a note saying it's the rental version of [NJL-12682]. Interestingly this lists the subtitles as being out of the picture. I imagine that both the consumer and rental version would be the same pressing so one of these entries must be wrong. Can anyone confirm?

I've got it and did see it some years ago. If I remember correctly subs are out of picture but I can check to make sure.

EDIT: Checked now, subs are out of picture. Buy with confidence.

Be sure to update the page on here. I'm happy to do it but I don't own the disc.

Just a shame we never got a version that missed out both the narration and the clumsy unicorn scene.

The unicorn scene is a very important part of the film's thesis. Also, I happen to be a fan of the narration so I always go for the international theatrical version. :D
