Wow, that's pretty obscure. The Japanese text on the reverse label is just the usual "this is a single-sided disc" boiler plate. The stamper number "DN-GV-92001-1" looks like a reference (catalogue) number, but it doesnt resemble any reference in the LDDb. In general, though, if the image looks normal in 16:9 (full) mode on your widescreen TV, & strange in 4:3 (black bars at sides) mode, it's squeezed.
So, it has two short segments, each presented twice? Can you describe the contents?

The squeeze ones do have the round red sticker, but being that sticker is on the outside wrap, alot of them are missing if the outer wrap is gone.

Well after a long search, I think almost 4 years......I have found a Ordinary Europe Japan Squeeze LD. This is the most that I've ever spent on a laserdisc, but it's still factory sealed. It's comming from DaDons and his packaging is really good and double boxed which helped my decision. I know there are Muse copies available easily for this. but I think this is probably the most rarest squeeze disc from the NTSC scenery ones, being the first one I ever seen for sale. It's this one here. Ordinary Europe [PILW-1222]From what I read the video used more newer HD cameras (from what was being used during those years) so picture quality should be pretty good. Anyone else have this one? Now if it can just squeek through customs un-noticed I'll be even more happy.

I can't find this in the database, but here are some pictures which might help. I'm almost positive I saw this disc for sale a few days ago in Hong Kong. I was gonna buy it out of curiousity but I didn't. I guess I'll go back to the shop and see if it's still there...I'll be gutted if it wasn't as it was only $5hk (about 50c)

vinylcollector wrote: Yes if you can find that Hitachi Destination LD for that price I would buy it. The picture quality is good. Just bought it. Indeed the picture and colours are fantastic. Probably among the best I've ever seen on an LD. I'm not too sure if it's a squeeze disc though...I'm watching it on a 4:3 display and the picture doesn't look squashed to me...but I could be wrong.
