Obviously the sexist and the racist won’t watch it. How about the trekkies? It looks more jj-esque and away from the form.

I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it won't disappoint, like Enterprise did with its militarism and its 'space Nazi lizard terrorists' level writing. The fact that it disregards the JJ Abrams movies is an encouraging sign that it will be more true to Trek form in its cerebral exploration of the meaning of life and exploration of the unknown.

I felt they tried to hard in all the wrong ways, with way to many commercials.

Its got bloody jar jar abrams written all over it in the form of LENS FLARES!

Just when we loyal true STAR TREK fans and later rerun fans of the TOS think we have seen the end of that f***ing jar jar abrams Crap trek feast of few years ago it comes back to haunt the TOS fans. I seen the trailer on youtube along with all the hate of it sucks reviews. I'm BOYCOTTING it I will not watch a single one bloody episode of this, Lens Flare travesty. I hate it! Its got that rubbish jar jar abrams LENS FLARES all over it! The uniforms are all out of place. The visuals don't fit the continuity of the Trek Universe, it has to suit that f***ing jar jar  disney star wars abrams b******t for another one of these crappy alternate jar jar abrams crap feats. Not saying another damn words about this rubbish other than.

RIP STAR TREK. :( Illogically and emotionally gutted. :(

it's a bit of a CGI parade, does some retconning, and does the "visual" reboot with the Klingons, but i give it a positive score in the end. Some of the characters are actually fleshed out and unique. In some ways it feels like a Star Trek, but not so much in other ways. Taken for what it is, though, it's a pretty good show.
