My question is the title of this post. I have 4 CED players about 30 feet from my AVR. I am interested in whether or not a 30 foot HDMI cable could pass signals that far. I will be converting composite to HDMI at the CED players.

I didn't think there was any distance that was unacceptable for HDMI, or was it quality of cable??
Can't remember.

But I do have a 50 foot from my DVD to Projector and its fine with no issues.

That is good to know. My CED players are about 40 feet from my AVR so a 50 foot cable should easily reach.

Maybe I could buy a 35 foot cable and use a cable stretcher (LOL) along with 30 feet of shoreline (ROFL).

the longer the cable, it's important you have a true 75 ohm high quality hdmi.
I recently bought a Supra 10M hdmi cable, it's kinda thick in diameter.
My video cables are all top brands from Ixos - Supra and QED.

now I have to find a suitable multi region blu-ray player and projector.
what do you recommend?
I like Cambridge Audio Azur BD series, they handle all disc formats from HDCD - SACD to DVD Audio.
However I can't find a used player which is unlocked to play blu-ray discs from all regions A - B - C

I can't help you very much. All my players only play region A disks.

I did decide on this HDMI cable:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YBBUY6O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

which should work more than adequately.

Looks fine, the one I bought was just a basic black looking one that cost around 18 or 20 bucks.
But you picked the fancy one
Mine is packed away and I can't even begin to tell you what brand it is.

I bought the cheapest 10 metre HDMI cable available for like
10 to 12 €. I have never had any issues with it.

Spending much more money on an HDMI cable is an utter waste of money.
Dont spend 40 € on a 1 m HDMI cable. Its basically fraud.

I spent $27.99 on the cable (no shipping charge [Amazon prime] and no sales tax). The cable is rated at HDMI 2.0 which means that I can use it for
UHD. I prefer to buy cables that are overrated for my use. It is just a personal preference. Some day I may have to move the CED players and the 50 ft. cable will still be able to carry the signal. I have other HDMI cables in storage that are shorter; but I don't have any idea if there is an HDMI cable splicer.

we are always getting ripped off at the shop paying top dollars for known brands.
you get what you pay for.
buy cheap you get crap, buy expensive you expect higher quality with better materials from the item you bought.
it's all about money VS price tag

Yeah you will be fine with it, and as you say if you do move the player one day you will have enough breathing room for it.

Only issue I have with the super cheap cables is that they are thinner but what you are getting looks fine.
Keep us posted when you get it, and if its not good you can always return with amazon.
