I recently obtained a CLD-97 and I'm trying to create a good workflow for capturing laserdiscs in standard 720x480i.
I've read up on the Lumagens, Crystalio, Faroudja NRS, etc, but what if I don't need scaling and deinterlacing? Are these still the recommended external comb filters? I am not capturing for viewing on a high definition television, and I can deinterlace in avisynth.
Also, what about capture cards? As long as I can capture lossless video and uncompressed audio, without triggering AGC, I'm good to go.
Thanks in advance.

Perhaps a paid upgrade option which they did in the past for the original Radiance owners. They offered a $500 upgrade software which allowed 3D video processing. I'd be very interested in paying for a 480i output option. I don't want to capture at 480p, and the only interlace option is 1080i.
