Had an unexpected bonus last mail-day, one of the titles arriving in this LD carry case. It has the Japanese LD rental logo on it so I'm guessing the store must have had these made up for customers to safely get the discs home and back again.

one of the Large LP cases you used to get for LP's would do the same job

that would be nice to have but I am using LP carrying cases for my collection. I wonder how sturdy that box is.

Its only for 5 or so discs, from what I remember it was just vinyl over cardboard.
Sort of like a chipboard case.

That's pretty cool. Would certainly be less bulky than the LP carrying case I use when bringing LDs to my parents' place.

Yeah, I thought it was a pretty cool little piece of LD memorabilia.

Probably the kind of thing that some other LD or LP stores might have had printed up with their logos too.

I'd never actually seen something like it before and then just over the weekend this popped up on YJP:
