I think we might all collect something other LaserDisc though I have paired down my audio and video game as well as movie/anime collections lately.

I still have to find more stuff I missed when I first started really buying anime. it kinda annoys me that nothing stays in print or picked up when there great titles to be released again. I love Masion Ikoku so I bought a VHS tape when I ran across but its still hard to find the rest of the series....

I do not have a clue about what this is except for the listing. here on ebay I can't find it either in the database. I got it because its Japanese and seem to be interesting since its a rather old release and things have probably changed if it was released today.

I saw one in a local shop but it was expensive. I never knew there was cassette changer until I saw it with my own eyes. Its a interesting piece of equipment.

I think it was also because DVDs were becoming the norm. I tend now focus on LD and VHS for anime now if for some reason rare and expensive or just rare on DVD.
I haven't seen this but I probably would like. I might get this but it seems out of reach so maybe I could find something online.

I had an excellent CLD-980 and didn't upgrade then got a S201 which I didn't like as much but I finally got and the one I like the most and still have is the CLD-79 Elite. got a spare like and finally got a remote and manual for the CLD-79 as well. So I would say go for the Elite one.

the DVHS/D-theater tapes are region lock as far as I know. At least the vcr and the tapes I have say that. Ebay would be your best bet though only the DVHS tapes can have DTS/DD not the regular VHS tapes and ebay doesn't have that many for sale. the BDs seem to be better priced on the titles that ar...
