The time compressed US Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back fullscreen releases are garbage, and even buying them for wall art is a bad idea as the widescreen CBS/FOX releases have the same artwork. They are just as worthless if you want a fullscreen Laserdisc of Star Wars and Empire, as the CBS/FOX CAV releases are at their normal intended speed.
I think I've overpaid for some pretty poor condition LDs in the past, but today's purchase via FB made 60 miles from home was 67 titles for $40. All covers are in excellent condition. I'd rate them 8 or even 9.
A good mix of classics and 90s flicks. Found a few reissues with the same catalog number as previous old releases and the only way to tell them apart was by finding a more recent year somewhere on the disc or sleeve.
I think my best find in this was my first silent film on LD: https://www.lddb.com/cover/ld/09801-09900/thumb/09804.jpg
The funniest thing was one of the LD sleeves had a sticker on it from the original video store that rented these (there were a dozen or so with rental tags on them) that said Be Kind, Please Rewind. PBKRewind.jpeg
EDIT - for some reason the video I linked to originally was slightly edited - now amended to show a different YouTube upload with a longer explanation of LD...
