people don't understand anything so they would like to live in a dream world where nothing upsets them but we are different so people seem to be smoking something.
How is Fawlty towers raciest? we are losing all cinema because of idiots. I will buy more copies of Gone With The Wind if that gets band. All I see it as an interesting take on female empowerment in the south post civil war

i love the books. I would be reading them if I had my collection. I'm at volume 16 and do have the latest ones here but I want to read them in order. I should go off and get my stuff out of storage. take a trip and get fresh air.

that's good to see. enjoy your self. I kinda like Harris as Dumbledore and was sad he passed away during the shooting of the series.

Just viewed all three Peter Jackson Hobbit movies back to back three nights in a row.

This coincides with my sons visit from out of state this summer.

I have The Silmarillion going in my truck for the next few weeks.
Books on CD still is a viable format in my world !

Gotta get my J.R.R. Tolkien fix every so often....

Ken Russell's Altered States is one of many epic films by that fantastic director.
Tommy will always have a special place in my heart.
Check "The Music Lovers", "Lair of the White Worm", and/or "The Rainbow", (Gothic) also !

Cheers people.....
Extended or theatrical cuts? I've only seen the theatricals cuts though I still like the animated movie more as its one of my childhood favorites. I kinda wished Jackson did one movie but the added stuff is interesting like the girl elf.

LaserMidi Thread https://forum.lddb.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=8933
Just found one for sale here on "Leboncoin".
This one is called a V75 "Dolby" and it's retail cost was the equivalent of around 2 000 today's €.

V75 front.jpg

There even is a scan of an article on it from "Les années Laser".
With what I read from the article, it sounds like the "midi" name is used more like it rather just means "HiFi" than anything else really.

Still a pretty unique thing in the LD world for sure.

354mm wide, 130mm tall. Cld-j990g.
The V2800 is even smaller

The Pioneer LD-V3000 not the other ones
he asked a a question AKIRA is the normal size disc, Phil Collins Music Videos is 8:

AEON FLUX movie. I dislike the show as it made no sense but at the time I was really watching it. Seeing the movie again I am not sure if I really like either.

Savage Planet or otherwise known for some reason Fantastic Planet. Want to read the book but in English its rare and expensive.

The original book is named "oms in s'erie" by Stephan Wul circa 1957 ?
This title is referenced in the intrance credits of Fantastic Planet.

Check out "Light Years" [ID6704VK]
Also by Rene LaLoux !
Glen Close, Jennifer Grey, Christopher Plummer, and John Shea do voiceovers......

Penn and Teller is also in Light years. I wish I could find that somewhere other than youtube.

i think there's a third movie that goes along with these two but I don't remember.

EDIT: please someone explain why they tag only works occasionally for me...

use the normal link in the URL address bar not the share one so https://www.youtube.com/ not https://youtu.be

Ah, the mobile app only shares the truncated URL. I never noticed that.

EDIT: OK, what was wrong with that attempt?

just do the tags with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWjUSy9OCtQ without the rest. {&feature=youtu.be}

I might see this but I've seen Lynch's which was better at aesthetic and environments. the world feels real. And the miniseries which was closer they say to the books but felt somewhat stale.
I wonder why they felt this needs to be remade. Everything seems to be marvel or dc these days and something different is at least a joy to see.

At first I thought it was him but couldn't make up my mind. this was weird. I may have the same diagnosis as he does but everything is going right for me medication wise and though my support group could be better at least I have some family. Wish everything would be better for him and sooty.

the beginning was like watching a meme but before there were memes. Its kinda jarring to have anime heads and real people's bodies. i kinda wish it was like Twilight of the Cockroaches where anime and live action together but more separate.
