sorry guys, let me put some basic mathematics here if it does not bother you to read at all.
a 16:9 display has aspect ratio 1.78:1;
a normal theatrical release has aspect ratio 1.85:1. revert it to 16:8.65
now I, or we, know why there are black bars on top and bottom because of 16:9 Vs 16:8.65 even if the title is a squeezed title.
just hope a 1.78:1 squeeze title can give us some full screen watching enjoyment:) |
