Is it the best quality capture?
It is very good for the cost. However, i have one that i bought to test (not sure if it is exact same YMMV), and it "softens" the picture, reduces the luma resolution. Here i captured using the composite to hdmi converter i got from amazon:

Compared to using a Harris X75 with OPT-A3D:

Notice the medals on the Captain's chest. For the first one, the individual lines are blurred together, but for the x75, you can make them out. However, it is getting hard to find good composite equipment these days. It's all used, old, surplus, on ebay. |
