After getting another LD-V2200 and looking at its tray loading mechanism, I finally figured out the problem.
SOMEHOW -- I swear it wasn't me -- the metal plate holding one set of the gears, right-most in ...
v2200_module_rear.jpg
... was ever so slightly bent. Bent it back with a pair of pliers. Lo and behold, it freely moves the tray back and forth with it screwed down. |

At least we don't have 4 decades of rape gangs in the USA, while you have Government and monarchs to cover it up. Hmmm, although at least the UK doesn't see 2,500 of its children die by gunshot every year , while you have the gun lobby to ensure this never changes.
