You can check the service manual for the CLD-D503/CLD-570.
This is a similar player for the US/WORLD market.

Loud buzzing sound coming out of the analog output

Check the capacitors on the AFBM board, specifically C762 (brown 105c) is a good starting point.
That’s a capacitor I know is sometimes defective.

When paused or no disc (e.g. blue screen) there are video artefacts, sort of ghost horizontal lines scrolling upwards and static vertical lines
Probably a capacitor problem on the power supply.
Be careful, the solder joints and traces are easily damaged on this board.

Image quality is not that great. Perhaps an unfair comparison with the DVL-909 i repaired previously, but perhaps this needs some adjusting, unfortunately i have no reference disc and they seem to be extremely expensive now days.

The picture quality of the CLD-2950 should be better than that of a DVL-909.
The DVL-909 is not a good a player in terms of picture quality.
There are probably some capacitors in the laser circuit out of specification (tilt and focus section).

Measure the ESR of C967, c968 c970, c976, c987,
They have a brown color and they are 105c

Calibration:
For calibration you can use a disc like “A Video Standard (LD-101)”, its not perfect but better than notting.

Also replace the 1F, 5,5v supercap. Its almost always defective and can cause all kinds of strange problems/behavior.
