• €3 is applied per item type (distinct HS codes), not per parcel.
• 2 LDs is €3 but 1 LD and 1 VHD is €6.
• This is in addition to the standard VAT/GST that remains in place.
• Depending on your shipping country and carrier, it might be possible to prepay (PPD) otherwise it will be due at import/customs.

That's going to make everyone's life... so much easier.

It's basically to break the flood of Shein/Temu/Alibaba packets that were divested to EU when the US "de minimis" ended August last year.

Yeah, China really abuses the system with their shipping.

So if you buy laserdiscs in bulk it'll make little difference since it'll just be the €3 for all of them unless your order contains something else too.

Out of curiosity, what tariff category do VHDs fall under, since they're not optical media but they're not exactly records, either?
