Hello!

Looks like we have a new cararte, putting many orders in and either disappearing or asking to cancel because an "emergency" came up.

=> https://www.lddb.com/feedbacks.php?user=mellowcf

Only 4 transactions were cancelled on the seller's request so far, but I believe there are more.

"Plus ca change, plus c`est la meme chose" ......
To quote a phrase......

Cheers to the membership.....

An aside -
Scored a may 2002 DVL-919 on flea-bay.... decent price, a best offer counter.
Delivery was successful - unit powered up and spun up nominally.......

Already up to 7 now, it's definitely a deadbeat.

Cancelled transactions (buying): 7

And he started buying more recently.

Warning the sellers + sending him a first strike as a warning.

mellowcf

ordered ten LD's from me. I sent the invoice. Nothing. I sent a followup invoice. Nothing.

Now I know why.

Thanks for the heads-up.

But I suspect more were not reported by the sellers (until I send the shop balance invoice!).

So I thought this name seemed somewhat familiar but just clicked in my head now. Bought from me once, no issues at all. Then was one of two buyers awhile back that took awhile to pay. But, did ultimately pay. I had to stay in contact via email. Then placed two more orders fairly recently and paid pretty promptly. Not sure what is happening but the last two orders from me were within the same time frame as when user caleefe posted about having issues.

I just came to post about a different buyer and how to handle, as I'm new to selling. I had one successful sale (but buyer left no feedback  ) - this second buyer immediately emailed a terse message "send me an invoice", which I did immediately, but has now ghosted me. My shop policy is a generous "7 days", it's now been over a week. I sent them a couple of reminders, but nothing. They have one positive feedback and then two cancellations but with forgiving feedback anyway? I'm inclined to cancel now and leave negative feedback. Questions are, can they leave me retaliatory feedback, and should I out them? Not sure where someone crosses the line.

mellowcf:

In October I got an order of 10 LD's, then never heard from him.

Today I got an order for one LD, and he paid promptly.

"Sterling Ford" is his name.

So now we'll see if he disputes thru Paypal.
