Post subject:  The big vote - should cararte be banned from LDDB Yes/No?
For anyone new to the forum I'd suggest doing a few searches for the name cararte and you will find some interesting threads to read.

This particular member has established a reputation as someone who buys items and regularly doesn't pay for them.
Checkout his user feedback:

There is also an ongoing dispute over his reliability as a seller of high end laserdisc players.

So my vote is YES he should be banned from LDDB.com :thumbdown:
It will make the site and forum a much safer place to do business for those of us who remain. :wave:

hard to ban anyone, will just make a new username and make it hard to know who he is, easier to let him have his name so everyone can avoid him =)

also hard to ban anyone who is not really on here :lol:
they post once every few months, and if people want to deal with him
and read these posts then they can do what they want.

it's like the other guy who had problems with dadon and some Japan sellers on yahoo.
they post and now they're gone :clap: they try to make trouble but dadon posted and the
other person is like the wind :lol:

A lot of the sellers are not actually active members of the forum so they are unaware of his track record.
The first they find out about him is when they get stung themselves with another non payment.

Julien had originally suggested adding a "black-listed buyers" feature so sellers were aware - that might do the trick although really the simplest solution is to just delete his account - he will soon get the message as any attempt to create a new account has to go through Julien first.

He has been weeding for many years now.
Micro scope is already on this "user" and fair warning has been given.
If anyone steps in poop dealing with this guy it is partially their fault for not keeping up with current events around here...........

HI all, I am a large buyer of laserdiscs and players, I purchased the laserdisc player from ricardo tomas msb ls2 platinum, as per previous reports on this site the following occurred,
goods did not arrive
was charged an extra 122 gbpounds after I purchased player for postage
tracking number invalid and post office was blamed
he stated total postage was 340 gbpounds to post economy
many excuses, no answers to questions
ebay refunded monies except for 122 gbpounds as done after he was paid for player and amount quoted on site for postage
he then guaranteed he would pay by the 10th february 2013 the 122 gbpounds
this did not occur
