I would like to make other buyers beware of this seller. The LDDB shop is Canuck Media Ent. and the seller is "canuckent". In September, I placed an order of two Laserdiscs and paid the seller. I wasn't given any confirmation that my order had shipped and I waited several weeks for it to come, - international shipping is not always fast. I sent several e-mails to the seller regarding this order and asked them whether it was sent or not, but no response. When I placed negative feedback on the seller, the administrator Julien made contact with both me and the seller and then they actually answered and said they would give me full refund. As per today, no happiness and no refund given. |

BTW, what were the titles you bought? |

Of course, the order could have been sent and then lost in the mail. But with no confirmation upon the package was sent or not, I doubt. The titles were: Double Impact [59686] Death Warrant [ML102170] I hope for a refund, but as time goes by, the chances are weakening. |

Yet another example of "communication" being the ultimate solution. It is the dealers responsibility to keep their customers updated along the process of transactions. Dealers, if you do not intend on following through with the sale, find another hobby !!!! Sorry for your troubles laserpaal. As already mentioned, thank you for pointing out the origin of your nemesis. Keep us advised please............ |

I did pay with Paypal. Unfortunately, the open case solution expired over a month ago. I was not aware of that until a week ago when I investigated the Paypal site further. Well, a lesson is learned. |

Don't give up just yet. Back awhile I had bought a DVD/CD set from e-bay (Taiwan seller) As it ended up there was a issue when I got it. The seller said to return it and they would refund me. With all that time passed they finally said they got it back and would refund me. No refund came, and they then said it was still comming but nothing. The Paypal deadline also had passed (as yours has) but I went into the transaction, and you can still file a comment to Paypal about your transaction which they read and pass on to the other party (your seller) So I told them my issue awaiting a refund. In about 3 days my seller sent me my refund So I'd still send Paypal a note about your issue that they promised you a refund. When you get the Paypal fleet (the HLD- X0 squad crew |

Nearly the same scenario happened a year ago, but this time on eBay. Luckily, I reported the problem in time and got a refund before it was too late. I have sent an e-mail to Paypal support explaining the case in detail, so I hope they will take this further, eventually contact the seller. It would be a shame if they just let it pass. In worst case, shipping overseas can take up to a month or so, - that leaves you with little time for a 45 days deadline reporting a problem. But, still hoping for something good to come out of this! |

Update; Sent an e-mail to Paypal regarding this incident about what to do after the 45 days, is there still a chance to report the seller? Got response and they told me the same over and over again about opening a case, but since the days are long and gone, the case was closed immediately after opening. This concludes the case, I believe... |
