The last guy really takes the price, I offered to pick up the player in berlin, and he have actually given me an adress in berlin. He is actually close of tricking me to waste a day in berlin, I bet he hope that I am just testing him and will change to bank transfer in the last minute. Damn a*****e.

I have reported most of the ads now.

an interesting fact. I reported all the ads Ive found with these 2 scammers, together with all information I got. French Leboncoin.fr which is the biggest site, active in almost all eu countries was the only site that didnt. remove the add.

I got a response from them, in french ! were they explained that it wasnt enough to prove a scam. i replied with his email and a link to the forum were people been scammed by him. its 2days since that and its still on the site!

I'd never buy a high end LD player from one of those Ad sites no matter what they promise.

I have however sent wired funds to countries like Russia, France and Germany for some very rare music LDs that I simply couldn't get anywhere else in the world. Everything worked out fine but I had made many checks on the sellers beforehand to confirm they were genuine. It is a risk you sometimes have to take if you want to own something that very few others have.

This Player was sold a few months ago with exactly the same pictures, seller is located in the russian federation. It looks to me like a scam...Has anyone heard of this seller? I think the player went the last time for a few thousand Euros, if I remember right.

Not sure if it is a scam... Seller seems to be in vintage HiFi Business.
Check his other items, and his feedback.
But buying expensive goods from russia... gives me an odd feeling in
the stomach.

If I would buy something like that it would either be in person to pick it up and ship back to me (if its in Japan) or somebody I trust that deals with players.

Player was sold for about 1000 €...I wonder how many the seller still has left in the cellar....
