The photo is from Wikipedia, which I guess isn't so uncommon.

I generally don't go for CL ads that want to trade. So I wouldn't bother.

I think he's a troll but I don't know. Just avoid that one.

I'd avoid it just because $2000 is too much. That's *maybe* a $600 package. While the NEC PAC is shown, he doesn't list it. I think that's someone else's photo.

I'm not in the market for one anyway, just came across it and found it odd.

Yeah, that's the LA photo from Wikipedia. I'd definitely say this guy is a troll, maybe trying to get back at a buddy by putting his phone number in a weird ad or something.

I think it's more likely that some dirtbag just happened across a Lasersactive and wants to sell it. Laseractives often end up in the sort of doublewides that also house Atari Jaguar, off brand cigarettes, taxidermied raccoons, Ted Nugent 8 tracks, etc.

It's probably in awful shape and not working. The PAC probably has massive capacitor leakage and the player probably won't mount discs. If it didn't smell too bad I'd give him $50 for it.

Far too many spelling errors for me to take that seriously. The second strike is the odd trade options. Would anyone seriously trade a running car for an ambiguously described pile of laseractive items?

That would be too much even if a copy of Time Gal, one of the most valuable Laseractive titles, came with it. Speaking of which, Time Gal is probably the only title which really interests me on the platform, as it is a perfect port of the ultra rare arcade game (and in much better quality than the Sega CD version, naturally).
