RE: ebay...I have been buying and selling there for almost 15 years, and they most definitely have turned Against Sellers in the last few years! They refuse to accept that without us sellers, they are Nothing more than a rickety old card table in a dusty yard sale...that Sellers are Their only customers, and Buyers are the Sellers customers.
We sellers must jump through new hoops with the change of the wind...senseless, arbitrary, and time-consuming format changes, shipping rules (ebay taking a percentage of Our shipping fees!?)...and so on.
I do try to sell some of my laser discs there...have actually sold a few, but it is painful to have had them for more than 20 years, most costing top dollar, to now sell them at a loss, just because I know I will never get around to opening and playing them! It's time to let someone else finally enjoy them!

Ebay now charges fees on the final price "including the shipping amount". Just think of the shipping cost on a X0 player .So if you make a deal with the seller and Paypal them directly and they end the listing......e-bay will loose their profit on the item and the shipping which can be more then the price of the item. So if their charging to end the listing ........they want some of their money back.

Before when they charged a fee to list an item, they still made something if you ended the listing. But they have free listing promotions now.

I have bought from Jojo before too and no problems but that was awhile back.

The problem they had was that a LD player would be... say $1 but $250 shipping so the seller pays fees on $1 and not on $250 when the real price split is more $220/$30.

They later added "reasonable shipping fees" limits but wouldn't work for out of the ordinary items and create further problems.

It's a chicken and egg problem.

I've bought at least a dozen LDs from jojo817817, never had a problem.
