This is the lesson the seller paid for, you can't go to school to pay for classes like this so you learn the easy or hard way.

In this instance it was hard, but how hard when you pickup the disc for unknown and then sell it for 150.00

Contacting the seller back to inquire more about his packing process/materials.

So now I get the full pictures.

Seller sent LDs (allegedly poorly packed, misgraded and damaged or scratched at destination) and refunded both.

Now one of the buyers tracked down the other one to see if it could have been a disc-swap mistake at shipping and found him.

They agreed to swap the discs at their own cost.

Seller then was informed that eventually the discs reached their destinations but 1/ one was broken and 2/ the other was damaged and not matching the grading/description.

They Seller wanted to get paid for the non-broken one, this is were I got contacted by him asking me to help with a "thief".

Doesn't sound right to me.

On the packing side, I am AMAZED at how LDs shipped to me from Japan arrive untouched because they sometimes only have one layer of newspaper around them, or are tapped inside a plastic bag (no plastic bubbles, no cardboard) and somehow they reach me without any damage.

ALWAYS ASK A JAPANESE SELLER (not a seller in Japan, I pack correctly) to explain how he's going to pack or send example pics!
They are really used to shipping unprotected and getting away with it because Japan Post/Yamato/Sagawa/Kurenoko/etc. does an amazing job.

Wow what a mess. All this new info really clarifies things.

As far as Japanese sellers I have found it varies. Those with experience shipping to America have some of the best packaging I've ever seen.
