Which, thanks to you and your generous nature, worked out wonderfully for me, allowing me to have a player I would never have otherwise been able to buy.

How did he almost steal it? By doing a BIN with a non confirmed Paypal address and THEN telling the seller he was in Portugal. The listing was specific about no international shipping. The seller emailed me (we're friends) and asked what I'd do. When I realized who the buyer was I told him to call the whole off and ignore any further communication.
He almost got seriously burned :lolno:

No, he took it off eBay and had lowered the price a bit and Duncan told the seller that I could be trusted since it was a non ebay sale and I just happened to have the money.

Just an update to keep everybody on alert.

Mister Ricardo Tomas that guy from MV_CInema consulting and many other names told me the insurance will pay him back. But of course I have not heard from him again..... He is probably ripping them of as well.

Anybody still in contact with this crook? Tell him to refund me.

I feel your pain. Someone needs to break his computer :evil:

If I ever get another email from him I'll let him know "no more replies" until he satisfies your mess (for all the good that will do).

Well it seems old habits die hard......checking cararte's most recent feedback on LDDB.com showed he has burned another seller by not paying again:
