So, I thought I'd start a thread for comments on the board itself.

One suggestion : currently, the minimum size for avatar images is the same as the maximum size, ie, 90×90 pixels. This is quite inconvenient if one doesn't happen to have an image in exactly the right size. So, for example, I have one which is 85×85, & another which is 84×100, neither of which I can use without some combination of cropping, resizing, & border-padding. Some latitude in size is preferable, in my way of thinking.

I suggested this to Julien in order to keep some harmony in the posts of this forum.
There are already other forums who are doing the same and it works pretty well.

In your case 85x85 to 90x90 should not be a problem.
You could photoshop it to the right size. If you need help, let me know.

I always mean to visit LDDB more often than I do, since I'm not actively increasing my LD collection any longer (nor DVDs, either, now that I'm streaming in broadband) BUT...having a forum to visit takes it to a whole other level. Thanks for adding it

My question regarding a potential board feature: any chance of activating the forum with Tapatalk? I have recently discovered the joys of keeping up with forums using a Tapatalk app on my shiny new HP Touchpad tablet (I guess I'm just a sucker for underdog hardware), and have found it makes my use of my favorite forums soooo much easier...at least the ones using Tapatalk...

Anyhow, off to peruse the rest of this nifty new forum...

Problem is... Tapatalk will ask you to login to the forum. And you can't. It's an auto-login when you come from LDDb with an active/valid cookie. You don't actually have a login/password to the forum!
