Would it be possible to have a laserdisc wanted section , sometimes you find a disc that is not available for sale but you see that quite a few members have it in their collection and they might be tempted to sell if the price was good or perhaps swap for another disc .
I have a swap section on my forum and it would be great to see another here on lddb

Some members might not really be wanting to swap some discs that they own but then again they might just get an offer that they cant refuse or they might find a disc that another member has that might just tempt them to part with them.

I'm for that wanted-section too! I have maybe 150 discs for sale or trade, but also a lot of discs I'd be willing to trade for the right stuff.

I've got 9 of the three-ring half-round vinyl LD pages used in the AnimEigo Urusei Yatsura set, if anyone wants them for anything. My binder finally fell apart, & instead of trying to repair it, I've decided I'm going to make my own box set, so I moved the discs into proper sleeves.

I've got several discs I'd love to just swap for titles I'd really like to have. I know one or two are worth a bit, but I'd just like to be able to swap for more LDs.

Swapping would be great....if I didn't have so many discs I couldn't part with. Which is pretty much all of them, haha

I have lots of duplicate music titles as I became aware quite early on that some were very highly sought after and it was a much better currency to trade in than cash.

So if you there is any music title you are after send me a PM and I am sure we might be able to swap something if you have some of the laserdiscs I am after.
Generally I will be after near mint/opened verified copies and can offer equivalent swaps or sets if you want to trade 1 for many etc.

Dang, I'd love to trade for that Matrix disc, but none of mine are really that valuable. These are what I have to trade, all are in very good to great condition with only a few tiny surface scratches and a sticker or some residue on some of the covers. Except Lost Highway which is of course rotted. Cover is great, discs play through with pretty snowy video and good audio, so it's still watchable. I think one or two of these might have been former rentals, but I'm not sure. They all came from one of my old film school professors who found it amusing that I was heavily into LD. All have played perfectly fine for me except LH.
