I am considering attempting to modify my 50 disc changer to cover the full array of audio options found on laserdiscs. The changer currently only has the standard red/white stereo output. I would like to add ac3 rf as well as s/pdif. One nice feature of the changer is that the audio circuitry is located on a seperate PCB on the front door (connector cn138). The two players found inside send the raw rf signal to this board where a single DAC handles both players. My question for everyone is, what would you consider the cleanest approach to achieve adding ac3 and s/pdif. I would need to grab the signal post ic502, this chip switches the audio signal between the players depending upon what the co-v200 commands it to do. If anyone is so inclined to see the wiring diagram you can find it on page 66 of the manual. It's loaded to the database, I submitted it back in 2019.

One thing to note, I have a Sony ep9es I plan to use as my pre-amp which will be dedicated to the changer.

Any help would be much appreciated.
