I Use Dolby Surround/Pro Logic, basically...it is ALMOST the same as commercial Dolby Stereo. but the 70mm variants (baby boom, discrete and split surround) are different, some of you saw star wars in 70mm dolby. i didn't--i was born on aug 12 1989.
but this can be simulated using a home theatre. (example: Denon avr 4810CI, klipsch speakers) my 2nd choice is DTS sound.
i guess it depends on you, and your choice of surround.
windsor, ontario got dolby sound too late, and they could have done better. like make the odeon theatre the 1st with dolby sound.
