Just received the last two DTS Laserdiscs to complete my collection. Only the US released ones though. The last 3 needed were ordered from the LDDB website. And 2 of the 3 were ordered from Julien. Thanks Julien!

I completed my DTS collection back in January (worldwide) - the last holdouts were "Schlafes Bruder" from Germany and the test pressing of "Jurassic Park".

My system does DTS. It is Dolby Digital that is not easy. I've had several Yamaha receivers over the years. The last Yamaha I had with AC-3 out was the DSP-A1. I now have a RX-V1800. Have to use an RF Demodulator for Dolby Digital.
All are played on a CLD-97.

There are a handful of stand-alone DTS decoders:
McIntosh MSD4
Parasound P/DD-1550
Millennium 2.4.6

The Millennium does ONLY DTS. The McIntosh and Parasound units do DD and DTS.

I have the Millennium 2.4.6 - if you have an amp that only lacks a dts decoder and has a 5.1ch input it is a nice option.
There is also a Denon dts only decoder, which is champagne color and fits perfectly to the AVP-A1 but I have forgotten the exact model number.

I am curious as to how many foreign DTS releases were done. My US release collection consists of 113 titles.

USA Announced 129
USA Released 112
USA Cancelled 17
USA Recalled 3
USA "Demo" 3
Japanese 27
Germany 1
Germany Recalled 1

The DTS Demo with clips of Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, Waterworld and Apollo 13 is listed in my numbers under "Demo". If you have that, it would explain your 113 versus my 112.

I have gone through my collection, marking off each title on a printed copy of my Excel spreadsheet. I finally found my mistake. I had one title listed twice.

BTW, I can't find my copy of The X-Files. It is probably somewhere. I moved recently and things are in disarray.

Looks like I need the Demo Disc you mentioned. I have one Japanese DTS. The DTS Experience. And it is very disappointing. I'm guessing the Jurassic Park Demo is not disappointing.

What's disappointing with the DTS Experience disc? Picture wise it's the only Laserdisc I've found that is directly comparable to an average DVD.

Picture is fine. It is the audio that is weak for a DTS track.

No, it's the full film Jurassic Park (1993) [20-926/20-949]

Very cool, gratz on picking it up.

I had an AC3 copy of Apollo 13 that was similar to this, in a white sleeve with generic Pioneer stickers.
Sold it to Ty before he passed.

What 3 USA demo discs are there?
I only count 2 and 1 Japanese on.

Schlafes Bruder is also very special as it is the only PAL DTS release, so no analog nor pcm stereo soundtrack, only DTS and it is Pal+, a kind of squeeze format that also only have a few titles.
I like to get my hand on that one as well one day, only if it were not so expensive.

I have all 112 of the US DTS discs, completed the collection back in the early 2000's.
