I have an hd pvr that can capture the video from a laserdisc in pretty good quality, cant tell much if any difference between it and plugging the player into my tv directly, and it perfectly captures ac3 sound tracks. I've got an external capture card that can capture the pcm soundtrack, as near as I can tell without modifying it from the disc. So 3/4 of my laserdisc capture set up is good to go. But Id like to track down The mask, capser, and jurassic park DTS laserdiscs someday hopefully by the end of the year. And of course I'd like to be able to capture those dts tracks so I can sync it to that video or possibly even newer releases.

I just dont know where to start for those....

Hi!

I think the first thing would be to put "capture DTS" in the search box and see what it gives:

Preserving LD AC3 and DTS Soundtrack
Capturing PCM soundtrack to a computer
What is needed for this to be done?
